Information Logistics, Inc. ("ILOG," "we," "us," or "our") operates the HELP Emergency Traveler Assistance System SMS alerts program via short code 34421. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in connection with this specific SMS program. It applies solely to the short code SMS alerts service and does not govern any other ILOG products or services.

When you register for or use the HELP Alerts SMS service, we may collect the following information:
Mobile phone number — provided by you at registration, used to send SMS alerts.
Location data — with your permission, we collect your approximate geographic location (latitude, longitude, and accuracy estimate) through your browser to help AGENCIES respond to your area. Location data is retained only for the duration of the event for which you registered (up to ten days) and is then automatically removed.
Device and usage information — basic information about your device and interactions with the service, used for service reliability and improvement.
We use the information we collect solely to operate and improve the HELP Alerts SMS program, including to:
Send you SMS alerts, emergency notifications, and service-related messages via short code 34421.
Share your location data with authorized AGENCIES and approved emergency response partners for the purpose of coordinating assistance in your area.
Confirm your registration and manage your opt-in status.
Maintain the security and integrity of the service.
Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your mobile phone number or personal information for unrelated marketing or advertising purposes through this program.
Your information is shared only as described below:
Authorized AGENCIES — your phone number and location data are shared with AGENCIES and other approved emergency response agencies for the purpose of providing this service.
Wireless carriers — your phone number is shared with carriers as necessary to deliver SMS messages.
Service providers — we may share information with third-party vendors who assist us in operating this service, subject to confidentiality obligations.
Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law or compelled by a court of competent jurisdiction.
ILOG does not sell, rent, or lease your personal information, including your mobile phone number, to any third party. Your phone number will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
By registering your mobile phone number for this service, you consent to receive recurring SMS text messages from HELP Alerts via short code 34421. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on event activity in your area.
You may opt out of this service at any time by texting STOP to short code 34421. You will receive a final confirmation message, and no further alerts will be sent. You may also be automatically opted out when the event for which you registered has closed.

This service uses only secure HTTPS communication with SSL encryption to protect data transmitted between your device and our servers. We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your mobile phone number is retained for as long as you remain opted in to the service or as required by law. Location data is retained only for the duration of the event for which you registered (up to ten days) and is automatically deleted thereafter. If you opt out, your phone number is retained in our suppression list to honor your opt-out preference.
This service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
ILOG reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, in its sole discretion. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the HELP Alerts SMS service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
